Refund Policy

Overview

We want you to be satisfied with ScriptForge. If you're not happy with your subscription, here's how refunds work.

Free Tier

The free tier requires no payment. No refund applies. You can use the free tier indefinitely with watermarked exports and usage limits.

Paid Subscriptions

Within 7 days of first payment

If you're not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment. No questions asked.

After 7 days

After the 7-day window, refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis. We will consider refunds for:

  • Service outages lasting more than 48 consecutive hours.
  • Billing errors (duplicate charges, incorrect amounts).
  • Features advertised but not delivered.

Non-refundable

Refunds are generally not issued for:

  • Partial months of usage after cancellation (you retain access until the period ends).
  • Third-party API costs incurred through your own BYOK keys.
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (AI outputs vary by nature).

How to Request a Refund

Email support@simakk.co.za with your account email and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

  • You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • Your account reverts to the free tier after the paid period ends.
  • Your data (scripts, renders, settings) is preserved for 90 days after downgrade.

Processing

Approved refunds are processed through our payment processor and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment method.
