What we do

ScriptForge is an AI-powered platform that helps content creators turn raw ideas into camera-ready short-form videos. We handle the hard parts — scripting, voice synthesis, B-roll sourcing, and rendering — so creators can focus on what they do best: creating.

Whether you make TikToks, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or educational content, ScriptForge gives you a single workspace to go from concept to publish-ready video in minutes, not hours.

Who we are

ScriptForge is built and operated by Simakk Digital, a software studio based in South Africa. We build tools that make professional content creation accessible to everyone — not just those with big budgets or technical skills.

Founded by Shingi Mandebvu, a software engineer with a passion for creative tools and AI. Shingi has spent years building production software and believes the next generation of creator tools should be intelligent, affordable, and delightful to use.

Our approach

  • Generous free tier. We believe creators should be able to evaluate a tool thoroughly before paying. Our free tier includes AI scripting with Gemini, voice synthesis with Kokoro, and stock B-roll — no credit card required, no time limit.
  • Bring Your Own Key. Power users can connect their own API keys for providers like OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Pexels. Your keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and never used for anything other than processing your requests.
  • Transparent pricing. Simple tiers, no hidden fees, no lock-in. Cancel anytime and keep access through the end of your billing period. See our pricing page for details.
  • Privacy-first.We don't sell your data. We don't train models on your content. Your scripts, audio, and videos belong to you. Read our privacy policy.

Technology

ScriptForge integrates multiple AI engines — including Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic Claude — to generate scripts tailored to your platform, tone, and audience. Voice synthesis is powered by Kokoro (open-source), OpenAI TTS, and ElevenLabs. B-roll is sourced from rights-ready libraries like Pexels and Pixabay, with AI-generated video from Replicate and Fal.ai.

All rendering happens in the cloud. You get a finished video file — no local software required.
